The KPMG Women’s Irish Open has once again been recognised as one of the premier events on the Ladies European Tour, winning LET ‘Tournament of the Year’ for the second consecutive year, as voted by the LET players.
The award, announced yesterday at the LET Awards in The Buckinghamshire, London, underlines the tournament’s growing reputation for excellence and confirms its status as a standout event on the LET calendar. To be voted back-to-back Tournament of the Year by the players themselves is a remarkable achievement and recognition of the overall experience delivered at the KPMG Women’s Irish Open.
The was delivered by event by ForeFront Group and long-term title sponsors, KMPG, in partnership with the Ladies European Tour, continuing the event’s upward trajectory since its return to the LET schedule in 2022. Year on year, the KPMG Women’s Irish Open has raised the bar across every aspect of the event – from world-class players and course presentation to fan engagement, atmosphere and player experience.
The Tournament of the Year award is determined entirely by player vote and reflects their assessment of the event. Winning the accolade for a second straight year highlights the consistency, professionalism and passion behind the tournament, and reinforces its position as one of the most respected and player-favoured stops on the LET.
KPMG ambassador, Leona Maguire, has described the event as having a major championship feel to it’ thanks to the record crowd numbers, course setup, and festival-style fan village.
