Tom McKibbin makes his first appearance on the DP World Tour since joining LIV Golf as he takes in his second event in Singapore in as many weeks. There’s an Irish trio in Australia again on the Ladies European Tour while Canice Screene makes her pro debut on the Sunshine Ladies Tour and Seamus Power joins Shane Lowry at the Valspar.
PGA Tour
Shane Lowry and Seamus Power tee it up at Innisbrook Resort for the Valspar Championship. Both players will have different agendas.
This will most likely be Lowry’s last competitive outing before the Masters next month while Power will want to bounce back from a missed cut at the Players Championship.
Power is now 98th in the FedEx Cup standings with the top-100 keeping their full PGA Tour playing privileges at the end of August and the West Waterford native will want to try and begin his ascent towards the top-100 in the world rankings also having fallen to 125th in the world.
DP World Tour
Tom McKibbin continues his Singapore adventure at the Porsche Singapore Classic at Laguna Golf Resort.
McKibbin played in LIV Golf’s Singapore event last week and is making his first DP World Tour appearance since moving to the Saudi backed tour.
Meanwhile, Conor Purcell also returns to action and will be hoping to turn his fortunes around after a slow start to his rookie campaign.
Ladies European Tour
Lauren Walsh, Anna Foster and Annabel Wilson round off an eventful month in Australia at the Ford Women’s NSW Open.
Walsh finished 16th last time out after a disappointing back nine put paid to her hopes of a maiden pro win at the Australia Women’s Classic while Foster made the cut and Wilson missed out by the minimum.
Sunshine Ladies Tour
Canice Screene makes her professional debut in South Africa at the Platinum Ladies Open, Olivia Mehaffey is also in the field.
Alps Tour
Ronan Mullarney, Hugh Foley, Robert Moran, Michael Young and John Murphy compete in the Tunisian Golf Open.
