Irish Golfer Magazine, the official media partner for the EuroPro Tour stop at Tulfarris are delighted to announce a new incentive for the best Irish player at this week’s PREM Group Irish Masters on the EuroPro Tour.
A total of 24 Irish players tee it up at Tulfarris this week and are eligible to pick up the new Irish Golfer trophy and a cheque for €500 come Sunday evening.
“At this level, professional golf is tough. We felt there was an opportunity to put up a special award to recognise the leading Irish player this week. The award is recognition of emerging talent and a small help to Irish players looking to make their way in the professional game,” explained Peter Finnan, Director of Match Play Media, publishers of Irish Golfer.
“The PREM Group Irish Masters is the only EuroPro Tour stop in Ireland this year meaning Irish members are travelling and spending much more to compete on the EuroPro Tour. This award is a small token of our appreciation for the time and dedication the next generation of Irish golfers are putting in to break through to the next level in their careers” added Finnan.
Reaching over 70,000 golfers in Ireland every month across its print and digital platforms, Irish Golfer supports golf at all levels in Ireland and are official media partners to the GUI, ILGU and PGA in Ireland.
The leading Irish player will be presented with the trophy and cheque for €500 at Fridays prizegiving on the 18th green immediately after play concludes.
