Sean Keeling won the amateur category in the Roda Open as his fine form on the European Pro Tour continued in Murcia.

Keeling carded a final round of 66 to ease to the title by five shots from his brother Patrick on fourteen-under-par.

The Roganstown starlet also finished third in the overall class three shots behind three-time DP World Tour winner Bradley Dredge of Wales.

Keeling finished with a flourish, racing home with three successive birdies.

Patrick Keeling also continued his impressive form after winning the Murcia Amateur last weekend with a top-7 finish in the overall category on nine-under after a final round of 68.

The teenager also finished well with two birdies in his last three holes and the highlight of the day was an eagle on the par-5 5th.

DP World Tour winner Jonathan Caldwell warmed up for his season on the Challenge Tour with a share of fourth place in the overall on twelve-under-par after a best of the week five-under 67.

Padraig O’Dochartaigh and David Shiel also secured top-7 finishes in the amateur category on two and seven-over respectively.
