The 2026 Irish Golfer Events Series got underway at the magnificent Jameson Links in Portmarnock on what proved to be a typical links golf day, combining wind and intermittent rain showers. The course has a fearsome reputation as a tough challenge and it’s safe to say that it didn’t disappoint!
