Leona Maguire suffered another slow Sunday as she slipped down the leaderboard on the final day of the Blue Bay LPGA at Hainan Island.

Maguire has made a habit of following a good round with a poor one in her first two starts of the season and she continued that frustrating trend again here as she carded a final round of 76 for a one-under total.

The Cavan woman has made plenty of birdies, fifteen in all with an eagle but her cards have been littered with mistakes.

On Sunday, she was two-over through four holes again before carding her first birdie on the 5th. She made back to back bogeys on the 6th and 7th before bouncing into the back nine with an eagle on the par-5 8th.

She gave those two shots away with a double bogey six on the 10th before making her only birdie of the back nine on the par-3 11th. Unlike in rounds one and three there was no big finish as she dropped shots on the 12th and 15th to come home in a bruising 39.

At the top, overnight leader Mi Hyang Lee recovered from a front nine of 40 to birdie the last for a one shot win on 11-under after closing with a 73.
