This week on tour, Lauren Walsh makes her debut on the LPGA Tour alongside Leona Maguire and the returning Stephanie Meadow while Rory McIlroy is back in signature event action as Shane Lowry looks for redemption at Bay Hill’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.
PGA Tour
Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry are the headline acts on the PGA Tour as the big events keep coming as we roll towards next month’s Masters at Augusta National.
McIlroy, a previous winner at Bay Hill, will be looking to get back to winning ways this week after a near miss last time out at the Genesis Invitational.
Oh how Lowry would have loved to have only had a near miss last week at the Cognizant Classic. But this golf course presents another opportunity to recover from blowing a three shot lead with three holes to play and get back on the saddle at a place he has performed well at.
Meanwhile, Seamus Power is in the field for the Puerto Rico Open.
LPGA Tour
Lauren Walsh is set to get her LPGA Tour rookie season underway in China at the Blue Bay LPGA in Hainan Island. Walsh joins Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow in the field.
Maguire is making her third appearance of the season so far after some mixed performances so far while Meadow tees it up for the first time this season having only appeared four times last term.
Ladies European Tour
Áine Donegan and Anna Foster are in action at the Australian Women’s Classic. Donegan burst onto the scene as she hit the front on her debut at the halfway stage last week with rounds of 68 and 63 before finishing 16th while Foster has made a steady start to her second campaign on the LET.
LIV Golf
Tom McKibbin and Graeme McDowell are in Hong Kong for the latest LIV Golf event as McKibbin looks for a double having won the Hong Kong Open on the Asian Tour.
