Ellen O’Shaughnessy is in fine form early in the 2026 season and she posted the highest finish of her collegiate career as she came second at the Causeway Invitational.

The Colorado student finish on three-under-par with UC Riverside student Mitzi Duarte, four shots behind San Francisco’s Eva Pett.

O’Shaughnessy closed with a final round of 72 after opening with a 71 and 72.

Colorado did ease to the team title on level-par after combined scores of one-under, two-under and three-over which was good enough for a four shot win ahead of UC Davis.

O’Shaughnessy has been impressive since the turn of the year after previously recording finishes of 15th and 13th in her first two starts this term.
