Ireland made the perfect start to the Women’s Octagonal Matches at Costa Ballena as a strong singles performance saw them overturn a morning deficit to beat Austria.
Ireland trailed 2-1 after the morning foursomes but they bounced back in style to win 5-4 ahead of their day two clash with Sweden.
