Northern Irishman Cameron Clark has hit the front after 36 holes of the Legends Tour Qualifying for 2026 at Gloria Golf Resort in Belek, Turkey.
The 51-year-old current Head Professional at Moor Hall Golf Club in England followed his opening round of three-under-par on Gloria’s New Course with another three-under 69 on the Old Course and holds sole possession of the lead at the halfway mark.
A slow start saw Clark bogey the third and he covered the opening four holes in one-over but then reeled off three birdies in a row to move back towards the head of the leaderboard.
A bogey on eight stalled his momentum temporarily, but he began the back nine with a birdie and a bogey, then another three-birdie run took him to -7.
After three pars, he will be a little disappointed to have bogeyed the par-3 closing hole, but, at six-under, he takes a one shot lead into the final two rounds as he seeks to claim one of the five full cards on offer for the 2026 Legends Tour campaign.
Frenchman Anthony Grenier and England’s Paul Streeter share second place at -5, with Brazilian Rafa Barcellos in solo fourth at -4 and a two-stroke gap back to the duo sharing fifth at two-under.
Gary Murphy and Damian Mooney both sit at +4 and tied for 35th, but they are safely inside the cutmark which fell at +11.
Both men were also playing the generally more difficult Old Course in round two, and Murphy shot a second successive 74 while Mooney improved on his opening 75 by two strokes.
Currently six shots off the provisional fifth place number, the pair will likely need to shoot rounds in the 60s on both of the final two days if they’re to challenge the qualification mark.
