Husqvarna, a global leader in outdoor power products and cutting-edge robotic mowers, has signed a new multi-year agreement to become the new Title Partner of the British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo – one of the DP World Tour’s most historic national Opens.
The Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo was first played in 1946 and boasts a roll call of legendary winners including Peter Thomson, Tony Jacklin, Bernhard Langer, Ian Woosnam, Seve Ballesteros, Sir Nick Faldo and Colin Montgomerie. The tournament, played at The Belfry on the Brabazon Course, occupies a prime slot in the DP World Tour’s “Back 9”, which comprises nine of the Tour’s most historic events, national Open’s, and exciting new tournaments. The 2025 tournament was won by Sweden’s Alex Noren.
Speaking about today’s announcement Sir Nick Faldo, himself a Husqvarna Brand Ambassador, said: “As a former Champion, I take great pride in hosting this iconic tournament and it’s about to enter an exciting new era with this new partnership. I love Husqvarna’s products, and they will be out in full force at The Belfry next August to make sure the Brabazon Course is in perfect condition.”
As part of this new agreement, Husqvarna will also become an Official Marketing Partner of the DP World Tour.  This builds on Husqvarna’s successful partnership with the Tour in 2025, where it became an Official Tournament Partner to the British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo and the Amgen Irish Open, and a Corporate Partner to the BMW International Open. With this elevated status, Husqvarna will be able to showcase its range of products and services across DP World Tour channels throughout the season.
Husqvarna has a strong track record providing best-in-class golf course maintenance tools to some of Europe’s most iconic courses and tournament venues. At the 2025 AIG Women’s Open in Wales, 15 Husqvarna CEORA robotic mowers managed all 18 fairways, marking their debut on the world golf stage.
“Golf is the perfect stage to demonstrate the performance of Husqvarna’s robotic lawnmowers, already delivering world-class results at over 1,700 courses worldwide. This partnership marks a shared commitment to reinvent golf course maintenance for a new era”, says Yvette Henshall-Bell, President Europe BU Husqvarna Forest & Garden Division, Husqvarna Group.
Max Hamilton, Executive Commercial Director of the DP World Tour, added: “Husqvarna joined our partner family last year as an Official Partner to three tournaments and after the success of those campaigns, they were keen to expand their relationship with golf’s global Tour. The British Masters holds a special place in Tour history, so it’s fitting that its new Title Partner is an established brand within the golf sector. The tournament enjoyed impressive increases in spectator numbers and TV viewing figures last season, and we look forward to further building the Husqvarna British Masters together over the next three years and beyond.”
