Greystones star William O’Riordan will play with Charlie Woods in the final round of the 62nd Junior Orange Bowl International Championship.
O’Riordan who shared second place after opening rounds of 69 and 69 struggled on day three falling to a 79 to drop to 18th place on one-over, but he will be in an all-star three ball with Tiger Woods’ son and Cameron Kuchar who played a starring role alongside his father Matt in last month’s PNC Championship victory.
The trio are in the second group with O’Riordan looking to make a final day charge as he is just three shots outside the top-10 and he may even get to showcase his skills in front of 15-time major winner Tiger.
Colmbia’s Tomas Restrepo leads the way on twelve-under after a round of 64 gave him a four shot cushion over Italy’s Giovanni Daniele Binaghi.
Meanwhile, Patrick Martin is inside the top-30 on eight-over.
In the Junior Orange Bowl Girls, Tullamore talent Ella Cantwell is in a share of 27th place on plus fifteen after rounds of 78, 76 and 74 with England’s Charlotte Naughton holding a two-shot lead on seven-under after a 67.
