The first round of Final Qualifying for Lalla Aicha Q-School has been suspended for the day due to unplayable course conditions at Al Maaden Golf Marrakech and Royal Golf Marrakech.

Play was initially delayed until 12:00pm on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall in Marrakech, Morocco. Round one then got underway at midday before the horn sounded at 12:49pm following more rainfall and lightning threats in the area.

Olivia Mehaffey and Canice Screene, both of whom advanced through last week’s Pre-Qualifier at Palm Golf Ourika, each managed to get a hole in the books – both made par – before play was suspended. Aine Donegan, who cruised to victory in her Pre-Qualifier at Royal Palm Fairmont, and Annabel Wilson who came up just short of retaining full playing privileges in her maiden LET campaign, were among the later groups and didn’t see any action on day one.

Round one will resume on Wednesday 17 December at 9:30am with Final Qualifying now to be played over 72 holes. Maximum efforts will be made to complete this minimum, even if this requires extension of the competition into Sunday 21 December.

With the reduction of the tournament to 72 holes, there will be no cut. The top-20 and ties following the conclusion of play will earn Category 12 status for the 2026 Ladies European Tour (LET) season.
