Aaron Rai’s victory in the 2024 Wyndham Championship on the PGA Tour earned him just over $1.4 million, but the Englishman pocketed even more when outlasting Tommy Fleetwood in Abu Dhabi.

Rai’s 10-footer on the second playoff hole saw him collect the top prize of $1,520,000 and takes his total career-earnings on the DP World Tour over the $8 million mark.

Fleetwood, who won the inaugural DP World India Championship a few weeks ago, earned almost $1 million and he’ll have a chance to surpass the $32 million mark in DP World Tour earnings at the DP World Tour Championship next week.

Rory McIlroy’s half-million dollar week won’t have changed much in terms of lifestyle, but it assists him in his bid to secure a seventh Harry Vardon Trophy as the leading player on the European Tour.

Shane Lowry added almost $150,000 for his share of 12th, while Tom McKibbin can be forgiven for a Hong Kong hangover and a T66 finish which earned him just $20k and change.

On the PGA Tour, Ben Griffin’s impressive season continued with a two-stroke win over Sami Valimaki and his prize of just over $1 million takes his total PGA Tour earnings over $18 million with almost $12 million of that coming in 2025 alone.

Seamus Power’s T27 finish earned him just over $43,000, but that’s little consolation as he continues to languish outside the top 100 in the FedEx Fall rankings and has just two events remaining to secure his status for 2026.
