Tommy Fleetwood got a big monkey off his back when he won the Tour Championship and clinched the FedEx Cup on the PGA Tour back in August, and now, the Englishman can’t stop winning.
Fleetwood had the luxury of a three-stroke lead playing the 72nd hole at Delhi Golf Club, and the victory was his eighth on the DP World Tour, bringing with it the $680,000 first prize. This might pale in comparison to the $10 million he raked in for the win at East Lake, but it brings him just shy of $20 million in tournament prize money alone in 2025, making it by far the most lucrative season of his career.
Runner-up Keita Nakajima collected over $400,000, while Shane Lowry’s closing birdie was worth around $70,000, lifting him into a share of third where he earned just under $200,000.
Rory McIlroy more than covered his expenses for the week as well, picking up a cheque for $35,656, and adding another 48 Race to Dubai points to his advantage as he looks to earn a seventh Harry Vardon Trophy as the leading player in the Order of Merit at the conclusion of the DP World Tour Championship next month.
Leona Maguire didn’t have the week she was looking for at the BMW Ladies Championship in Korea, and her T56 finish brought with it just $6,466, but Sei Young Kim ended a five-year winless drought on home soil and the $345,000 winner’s share took her over the $15 million mark in career earnings on the LPGA Tour, becoming just the 10th player in history to do so.
It was also her first LPGA victory in her native country.
Ronan Mullarney’s T7 finish at the Alps Tour Grand Final may have only brought a €1,675 cheque with it, but more importantly, it was enough to wrap up fifth place in the Order of Merit, meaning he’ll play on the HotelPlanner Tour in 2026 (or the DP World Tour if Q-School goes his way) so there will be much bigger prize funds on offer, either way.
