Rowan Lester made it four made cuts in a row – and seven in eight starts – when he successfully navigated the weather disrupted Limpopo Championship at Euphoria Golf & Lifestyle Estate, and rounds of 71 and 72 on Saturday and Sunday respectively saw the Hermitage man record another top 25 finish in his rookie season on the Sunshine Tour.

In difficult scoring conditions on Sunday, he recorded a single birdie and a single bogey along with 16 pars to finish on -1 overall and moves up to 54th on the Sunshine Tour Order of Merit.

After twice being a runner-up in 2025, South African Pieter Moolman captured his first win of the year, shooting a final-round 66 – the low round of the day – to take a one-stroke victory over the trio of Kyle DeBeer, Altin van der Merwe, and Rupert Kaminski.

At least I didn’t finish like I did yesterday, but I am very happy with how I played the back nine. It is a tough course with some tricky flags,” Moolman said.

After losing out on the Sunbet Challenge Sun Sibaya title in a playoff two weeks ago, Moolman was happy to get the win this time.

“I have been knocking but it feels amazing to actually pull it through without a playoff this time. I am very happy about it,” Moolman added.
