Robert Moran eased into Stage Two of DP World Tour Q-School with a fourth-place finish at Frederikshavn Golfklub in Denmark, while Mark Power continues to lead after day three at Golfclub Schloss Ebreichsdorfin Austria.

Rounds of 71, 69 and 67 left Moran in second place going into the final round with the top 14 and ties advancing to Stage Two. Having got to -1 on the day with five holes to play thanks to two birdies and one bogey, he’ll be a little disappointed to have dropped three shots on the closing stretch, but he finished fourth overall and collected €900 in prizemoney, earning back some of the expense he’d paid out to enter.

Meanwhile, having begun a day later, there are 18 holes to play in the Qualifier at Golfclub Schloss Ebreichsdorf.

Rounds of 69 and 66 left Power at the top of the leaderboard at the halfway mark at -9. Playing a shortened course on day three, he consolidated his position with a two-under 68 and takes a one-stroke lead into the final round and a six-stroke cushion over the three players tied for 16th at -5 with the top 18 and ties advancing.

Alex Maguire kept his hopes of qualifying alive with a four-under 64 and he joins Stephen Grant on two-under, sharing 26th. They’ll both need to go low on the final day if they are to qualify, so they’ll both be all out for birdies as the golf course again will play as a shortened par-68.
