Four players will return in search of their second bronze medals at the European Mid-Amateur Team Championships when the competitions gets underway in Spain next month.
The teams have been selected with Colm Campbell (Warrenpoint) back for the men, while Shannon Burke (Ballinrobe), Jessica Ross (Clandeboye) and Aideen Walsh (Lahinch) all retain their places in the women’s team.
East of Ireland winner David Howard (Fota Island) has been included in the men’s team, along with Gerard Dunne (Co Louth) and David Reddan (Castleknock). Clodagh Coughlan (Douglas) completes the women’s selection.
The action takes place at Empordà between 10 to 13 September with Ireland looking to replicate their history making third-place finishes in both inaugural championships at Golf de Chiberta last year.
