Athenry Golf Club will play host to two underage tournaments next week with Boys and Girls events set to take centre stage.
The Junior Boys Open Scratch Cup sponsored by Watchman Holdings, will take place on Tuesday August 19th with a shotgun start at 10.30am, while the Junior Girls Open also sponsored by Watchman Holdings, tees off on Thursday August 21st with a shotgun start at 10.30am.
The Boys event will be played across 18 holes of stroke play and the Girls event will be an 18-hole singles stableford.
Both competitions are €10 per member and just €15 per visitor with lunch included and entrants must be under 18 on January 1st 2025.
This is a great opportunity to get some competitive golf in before the schools are back.
