The final round of the Boeing Classic got underway on Sunday and saw Darren Clarke finish two strokes off the lead as the Tyrone native put together a round that put him in contention with the 56-year-old carding a six-under-par final round.

After a hot start which saw three birdies in three holes, Clarke was on top form and the 2011 Open champion added an eagle on the par-5 eighth.

The back nine saw two bogeys for Clarke, but he added three more birdies into the mix and finished 13-under-par for the week, tied with Hall of Famer Ernie Els, and secured his fourth top 10 finish in 15 starts.

This result now sees Clarke at ninth in the Charles Schwab Cup standings, five places behind Padraig Harrington.

A bogey free seven-under-par round for Australia’s Steve Allen saw him climb up the leaderboard and earn his second PGA TOUR Champions victory in three starts and third of the season with a one stroke win over Stewart Cink.

Allan made a five-foot birdie putt on the par-5 18th at The Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, then waited to see if Cink could catch him. A stroke behind going into the final hole, Cink left a greenside bunker shot on the lip and made a par for a final round of two-under-par.

Allen began the final round four strokes off the lead and Sunday’s performance saw him match the largest final-round comeback of the 2025 season.

In an eventful final round, Greg Chalmers was disqualified for using a non-conforming club (Rule 4.1a) and Miguel Angel Jiminez remains atop the Charles Schwab Cup standings with a T14 finish on seven-under-par.

The PGA Champions Tour now heads to Canyon Meadows for the Rogers Charity Classic on August 15th.
