Tyler Hogarty finds himself in a share of 10th place after the opening round of the Clutch Pro Tour’s Imagine Cruising Masters at Cumberwell Park Golf Club after an opening 67, one ahead of Rory Williamson.

Hogarty, based at St Mellion Golf Club in England, carded three birdies and an eagle in a bogey-free effort that left him among seven players at five-under.

Clandeboye’s Rory Williamson is one further adrift after making five birdies and one bogey and he shares 17th place, with James Sugrue the only other Irishman in red figures on -1 and he finds himself just above the cutline.

Robert Brazill, on one-over, likely needs to shoot something in the 60s on Wednesday if he’s to find himself in the field for the third and final round, while Karl McCormack (+2), Scott Montgomery (+3), and amateur Alistair Hess and Tom Dowdall (+4) will all need to go lower.

At the head of affairs, England’s Callum Farr got off to a flying start with an 11-under 61 to open up a two-stroke lead. The Order of Merit leader is chasing his third victory of the campaign and guaranteed promotion to the HotelPlanner Tour for 2026.
