McIlroy and Lowry will look to defend the title they won twelve months ago at TPC Louisiana.
McIlroy and Lowry produced one of the signature moments in the history of the Zurich Classic last year, winning in a dramatic playoff and rightfully enter the tournament as overwhelming favourites to go back-to-back.
Each two-man team will play Four-ball (best ball) on Thursday and Foursomes (alternate shot) on Friday. After the cut – 33 teams and ties – they will play Four-ball on Saturday and Foursomes on Sunday.

The first women’s major championship of the season is upon us at the Chevron Championship with Leona Maguire looking to kickstart her season at The Club at Carlton Woods in the Woodlands, Texas.
The 30-year-old’s best finish in this championship is T18 in 2020 when it was played at Mission Hills as the ANA Inspiration.
Nelly Korda’s epic run of golf at the beginning of the 2024 LPGA Tour season came to a thrilling culmination at The Chevron Championship. With her victory at the season’s first major, Korda made history as she joined Nancy Lopez and Annika Sorenstam as the only players to have won five consecutive events in five consecutive starts on the LPGA Tour. Korda’s win also marked her second career major title after she recorded rounds of 68-69-69-69 to win by two strokes ahead of Maja Stark.
