Now in its eighth season, the Irish Golfer Events Series is once again your number one stop for top-class competition, top-tier courses and top-rate prizes.
The Irish Golfer Events series is back with incredible venues and fantastic prizes once again on offer for 2025.
Starting out at Killeen Castle in April and concluding with the Grand Final at the K Club’s Palmer North Course in October, 14 regular season events will again set the stage and the field for the showpiece finale, and all four provinces will see action.
Each of the 15 separate courses feature in the Irish Golfer Top 100 Course Rankings as seen later in this edition, as we once again offer competitors the opportunity to play top-quality courses at an excellent rate and with the opportunity of winning fantastic prizes.
Once again, each competition will be open to all golfers with a Golf Ireland Handicap Index, although iGolf subscribers won’t be eligible for the main category prizes. In events where there are five or more iGolf subscribers in the field, a separate iGolf Category will be included and a prize allocated.
Over €5,000’s worth of prizes will be on offer for each event, with first, second and third-place prizes for the top three scores in Category One (Gents up to and including 11 Handicap), Category Two (Gents with handicaps starting at 12 and to a maximum of 24) and Category Three (Ladies capped at 36), along with Best Gross and two Nearest the Pin awards.
Each category winner will earn their place in the Grand Final along with the top 25 players in the FloGas Order of Merit which ranks players according to their best five stableford scores accumulated across the entire series.
Following the Grand Final, the overall Order of Merit winner will be crowned and the Champion Golfer of the Year title bestowed on the Grand Final winner.
Each player will get a professional experience that includes a welcome gift on arrival, complimentary snacks, drinks, tees, pencils and other golf accessories, plus an introduction and professional announcement on the first tee.
