The Porsche Singapore Classic will not commence until Friday morning at the earliest after extreme heavy rains forced the cancellation of Thursday’s play at Laguna National Golf Club.
Tom McKibbin is due to make his first DP World Tour start since moving to LIV Golf in February, while Conor Purcell is also in the field, making his first appearance since the Magical Kenya Open back in week eight.
Per DP World Tour plans, round one will not begin on Friday with tee times as originally planned, but given the extent of the rainfall and the work required to return Laguna National into playable condition, it’s far from guaranteed.
