McIlroy and Lowry to feature in ‘Full Swing’ Season 3

Rory McIlroy and Shane Lowry will feature among a star studded list of tour pros as the third season of ‘Full Swing’ airs next month on Netflix.

Netflix have announced that the popular behind the scenes golf show will return to television screens on the 25th of February.

In season one, the popular docuseries focused on the war that broke out between the PGA TOUR and LIV Golf. Season two saw McIlroy come into deep focus as he rebelled against LIV Golf as well as trying to end his own major drought.

McIlroy and Lowry will join the likes of Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau on the lens while USA Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley will feature as will fan favourite and cult hero of the show, Joel Dahmen.

The fly on the wall series will bring viewers inside the four major championships again while also adding the Presidents Cup.

Netflix will cover DeChambeau’s rise to popularity as well as his US Open victory while Scheffler’s all conquering year and McIlroy’s on and off course tribulations come into view.

Netflix said in a press release: “Season three brings even more drama, with a lens on Scottie Scheffler’s history-making run, Rory McIlroy’s emotional rollercoaster in and out of competition, Bryson DeChambeau’s evolution from anti-hero to fan favorite and Keegan Bradley’s quest to write his own redemption arc from last year’s dramatic letdown.
“Also, Min Woo Lee and sister Minjee make their bid to be the first brother/sister golf tandem in Olympic history, Wyndham Clark partners with Mark Wahlberg to take their brand to the next level, Sahith Theegala makes a choice that costs him millions, Gary Woodland fights to return to the sport after battling a brain tumor, and Presidents Cup Assistant Captain Camilo Villegas rallies an International team in the wake of his own family tragedy.”The full list of players included in season three are:
