Beth Coulter and Aine Donegan were unable to turn the tide for Europe in the singles matches as Asia Pacific steamrolled their way to the Patsy Hankins Trophy at Al Hamra Golf Club.

Trailing by three points heading into the final day, Europe needed a quick start but what transpired turned out to be a disastrous run.

Donegan was beaten 3&2 by Suvichaya Vinichaitham as Asia Pacific roared to victory in the first seven singles ties of the day to secure the title and reclaim the trophy from the Europeans.

Europe stopped the bleeding with victories for Marie Madsen and Francesca Friorellini before Coulter shared the spoils in her match with Cindy.

The Kirkistown Castle star was 2UP after twelve holes but was pegged back on 17 and 18 as Asia Pacific ran out easy 20-12 winners.
