Audi quattro Cup Irish National Champions Patsy Farrell and Sean Murphy navigated a fiercely competitive playing field to secure fifth place in Group B at the World Final with a score of 74 points. Team Austria claimed the win in Group B with an impressive 86 points, whilst team Germany 1 placed second with 79 points, Singapore II secured third place with 78 points and the United Kingdom placed fourth with 76 points.
The 34th season of the Audi quattro Cup saw 35 teams from 31 countries taking part at the World Final, having qualified from their respective national tournaments. The competition was hosted at the Al Mouj Golf Course, Muscat, Oman. The links style course, designed by International golfing legend Greg Norman offered a challenging yet rewarding layout with spectacular wildlife and views of the Indian Ocean and Hajar Mountains.
Competition took place across two days with one practice day, which offered golfers an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the course and acclimatise to the warmer conditions.
Following the competition, golfers and their guests were treated to an impressive trick-shot show by trick-shot World Champion, Geoff Swain with the prize-giving taking place on Monday evening at the Kempinski Hotel, Muscat.

The Audi quattro Cup is a team-based competition with each team consisting of two players and is open to Audi customers and their chosen teammate. The maximum handicap is 36 (index) per player and 56 (index) per team. The handicap difference between the players in a team must not exceed 20.
