Carton House, Fairmont announced as host venue for 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open

Following the hugely successful hosting this year, Carton House, Fairmont, one of Ireland’s most iconic luxury resorts, will once again host the KPMG Women’s Irish Open in 2025.  The 2024 tournament saw a record-breaking 37,000 spectators gather to witness world-class golf at the Ladies European Tour (LET) event and the return of the championship to the Kildare venue promises to be even bigger and better.

The 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open has an earlier date and is set take place from June 30 to July 6 once again on the O’Meara Course. The change in date to early July has been welcomed by the Ladies European Tour and many key players as the event will be held the week before the Amundi Evian Championship in France, a Major Championship and the hope is that this new date will see even more big-name players looking to play in front of the renowned Irish crowds.

In more good news, the tournament organisers have also announced an increased prize fund of €450,000 which makes it the third highest prize fund on the LET outside of the Majors and the Aramco Team Series events.

This event will once again bring together the top female golfers from across the to compete in one of the most anticipated tournaments on the LET calendar and England’s Annabel Dimmock will return to Carton House, Fairmont, to defend her title.

“It was a huge boost when this fixture returned after a ten-year absence in 2022 and it has grown, with another special event earlier this year. It’s fantastic to hear the tournament is receiving further backing in 2025 and with its new place in the calendar it will look to break more records.”

Carton House is an exceptional venue, and we can’t wait to elevate the fan experience and showcase the world-class talent on the Ladies European Tour once again. We are also delighted to have been able to move it to an earlier date which suits the tour schedule more favorable and we expect to get a stronger field in 2025.”

The 2024 edition of the tournament was praised for helping to elevate the women’s game in Ireland to new heights. As one of the key sponsors, KPMG has been instrumental in the event’s success, and its continued support ensures the growth of the event year after year.

As anticipation builds for the 2025 tournament, early bird tickets are already on sale via the tournament website, with U16s getting in for free. The 2025 KPMG Women’s Irish Open will also feature enhanced fan experiences, including exclusive hospitality packages, on-site entertainment, and family-friendly activities, making it a must-attend event for both golf enthusiasts and casual sports fans alike.
