Conor Purcell has reached a career high Official World Golf Ranking of 366th after he claimed his maiden Challenge Tour win at the Black Desert NI Open on Sunday.
Purcell moved up a whopping 170 places and is now Ireland’s sixth highest ranked player in the world.
The Challenge Tour Road to Mallorca Rankings also make for pretty reading for the Portmarnock man who moved up the order of merit by 20 places into fourth place with the top-20 players after the Grand Final in November earning DP World Tour cards for the 2025 season.
There are just ten events remaining in the season before the Grand Final gets underway in Club de Golf Alcanada.
Meanwhile, Tom McKibbin dropped four places to 107th in the world while Rory McIlroy remains in third place behind Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler.
Shane Lowry has dropped one spot to 28th while Seamus Power has fallen to 122nd after the 3M Open.
