Richie O’Donovan came through a Tuesday qualifier to earn a place in the field at the Dimension Data Pro-Am at Fancourt Golf Estate.

The Dubliner was one of ten players to secure spots in Thursday’s Challenge Tour event and he will make just his second start of the season and his first Challenge Tour appearance since the 2022 Limpopo Championship.

Kyle McClatchie posted a seven under par round of 65 to come out on top at the Qualifier and earned his spot in this week’s ZAR 7,000,000 event in South Africa.

70 players contested the Dimension Data Pro-Am qualifier on the Montagu course at Fancourt Golf Estate, just two days before the tournament itself tees off in George, and a total of ten players qualified including South African Luke Jerling.

Jerling played 16 times on the Challenge Tour in 2022, which included a tie for second place finish at the Manguang Open.

Qualifiers:

Kyle McClatchie

Conner Mackenzie

Danie Van Niekerk

James Mack

LB Boshoff
