Ronan Mullarney saved his best for last as he soared up the leaderboard and into a share of seventh place at the opening event of the Toro Tour.
Mullarney carded a blistering final round of 65 to climb to ten-under-par, six shots shy of eventual winner Paul Margolis of France.
The Galway man had an electrifying start, birdieing the second before four successive gains from the fourth saw him turn in 31.
A bogey on the tenth was followed by four straight pars before he finished with three birdies and a bogey in his last four holes.
Naas amateur Jamie Butler entered the final round one shot off the pace but he carded a one-under 71 to finish in a share of eleventh place on eight-under with Karl McCormack a shot further back after a 65 of his own.
Eoin Freeman was T21 on one-over with James Temple on plus eight.
