Jody Fanagan (Milltown) returns from reaching the final of the US Senior Amateur to join the Irish Men’s Senior Home Internationals team.
Both teams have been announced for the event at West Kilbride in Scotland between 19 and 21 September, with the European Senior Team Championships acting as the ideal preparation this week.
Fanagan is joined by Karl Bornemann (Douglas), Jim Carvill (Banbridge), David Mulholland (Castlerock), John O’Brien (Castlemartyr), Declan O’Neill (Grange) and Peter Sheehan (Ballybunion).
European champion Alison Taylor (Malahide) is selected in the Women’s team alongside Suzanne Corcoran (Portumna), Lisa Cullen (Beaufort), Tracy Eakin (Dooks), Gertie McMullen (The Island), Deirdre Walsh (Milltown) and Laura Webb (Royal Portrush).
