Greystones golfer Alan Condren finished best of the Irish after day two of the 2023 European Senior Men’s Team Championship in Royal Golf Club Mariánské Lázne in Czech Republic.

The action also continued in Parador El Saler Golf, Spain where the Irish are top of the standings in the European Senior Ladies’ Team Championship.

Laura Webb (Royal Portrush) is T2 with Tracy Eakin (Dooks) in T4 and Alison Taylor (Malahide) back in T14. In the Men’s Condren is third with Jody Fanagan (Milltown) in seventh and Joe Lyons (Galway) in 12th. The Men are second in their leaderboard only behind France.

The results from the opening two rounds means both teams have qualified for the Flight A Championships over the weekend.
