Fresh off their wins in the Powerscourt recently, Alan Condren and Suzanne Corcoran will look to carry that momentum into the European Senior Team Championships between 5 and 9 September.
Condren (Greystones) claimed the Irish Senior Men’s Amateur Close Stroke Play on the same day that Corcoran (Portumna) picked up the Irish Senior Women’s Amateur Open last week.
The Men travel to RCG Mariánské Lázně in Czech Republic with a team packed full of experience; European champion Eddie McCormack (Galway Bay) and Irish Senior Close winner Joe Lyons (Galway) have both won recently while Jody Fanagan (Milltown) will look to recapture some of his best form from 2022.
The Women are in Parador de El Saler, Spain with European champion Alison Taylor (Malahide) joined by the likes of Irish Senior Women’s Close winner Tracy Eakin (Dooks) with Laura Webb (Royal Portrush) offering plenty of experience too.
