Costello carded a final round of two-under 71 for a five-under total courtesy of two late birdies on 14 and 15 which were good enough to give her a bronze medal for having a better final round than Germany’s Antonia Steiner.

The Junior Vagliano star finished six shots shy of Italy’s Natalia Aparicio.

Ireland finished tenth overall in the team standings on ten-over as France won by four on -18.
