The Irish Boys’ and Girls’ teams set to travel to Lindrick for the Home Internationals between 8-10 August has been confirmed.
Irish Boys’ Close champion, John Doyle (Fota Island), is joined by Donnacha Cleary (Tipperary) who he leads in the Boys Bridgestone Order of Merit.
Fresh off his strong performance in the US Junior Amateur, Junior Ryder Cup prospect Sean Keeling (Roganstown) will also travel, as will Ulster Boys’ Amateur Open winner, Darcy Hogg (Belvoir Park).
Fionn Dobbin (Malone), Mark Gazi (Tralee), Jack Murphy (Douglas), Gavin Tiernan (Co Louth) and James Walsh (Douglas) complete the Boys’ selection.
Katie Poots (Knock) won the Ulster Girls’ Amateur Open recently, and she will be one of the leaders for the Girls’. Anna Abom (Edmonstown) will hope to bring her English Girls’ Open Amateur experience to Lindrick.
Olivia Costello (Roscommon) is another player in form following her Flogas Irish Girls’ Amateur Open title success earlier this summer.
Kate Dillon (Oughterard), Marina Joyce Moreno (Llavaneras), Caoimhe O’Grady (Royal Dublin) and Ellen O’Shaughnessy (Co Louth) will also represent Ireland.
