Stephanie Meadow battled valiantly on day two of the Lotte Championship to make the cut on one-over-par while Yu Jin Sung and Natthakritta Vongtaveelap share the lead on eight-under.
Meadow recovered from an opening 75 with a two-under 70 to edge inside the cut mark and she will play weekend golf.
The Jordanstown left herself with lots to do after an early bogey on 12 but bounced back with welcome birdies on 13 and 16 to give her some momentum.
A birdie, bogey, birdie run to open her inward half lifted her to one-over and inside the cut mark and six closing pars maintained her place.
Sung (68) and Vongtaveelap (70) hold a one shot lead over the red hot Georgia Hall and Sweden’s Linnea Strom.
Hall who has had a pair of seconds recently shot a second round 66 and she is heavily in the mix again this weekend as she looks to go one better.
“To be honest it’s just hard work over the past like year and a half. To be honest it’s all coming together, and I feel very mentally confident and calm when I’m out there. Very patient as well,” said the Englishwoman on her form.
“Obviously got a great kind of person on the bag and friend in Colin and we got on really, really well. We go out and have fun.
“I mean, yesterday I wasn’t quite on it. I played okay. I know I left quite a few out there.
“I really took advantage of the par-5s today. I was quite aggressive on them and I had fairly easy chips to get up and down for birdie.
“So really happy with the bogey-free round.”
