Irish success continued Stateside as Áine Donegan helped LSU compete a dominant nine-shot victory at the Moon Golf Invitational.
It was a positive week for the Irish overall with three of the four players inside the top-15 after 54 holes, in fact, they shared thirteenth place.
Donegan carded a final round of 70 to move to five-under which included a brace of closing birdies.
Sara Byrne of Miami shot the lowest round of the Irish and the third lowest round of the day with a sublime 67 to join Donegan at -5.
The Cork woman birdied three of her first five holes and added another at the eighth. Having dropped one on the ninth she finished strongly with birdies on 15 and 18.
Auburn’s Anna Foster recovered from a back nine double bogey to post her second successive 72 of the week.
Mairead Martin of Louisville carded a two-over 74 for a seven-over total.
