Roganstown talent Sean Keeling will take a five-shot advantage into the final round of the Hacienda del Almo Masters, the latest European Pro Golf Tour event in Spain.
The teenager charged to the front courtesy of a four-under par round of 68 on day two, adding to his one-under start.
He’s the only man under-par through 36-holes and at five-under, he holds a healthy advantage over nearest rival Johannes Gudmundsson from Iceland.
Keeling carded five birdies on day two and will look to keep the foot to the floor in search of the amateur title in a promising start to the new year for the impressive Dubliner.
As for the other Irish in the field, Padraig O’Dochartaigh returned rounds of 71 and 74 for a one-over tally, with Sean’s brother Patrick Keeling next best at seven-over par.
