Four players are tied at the head of the field going into the final day of the Irish Intervarsity Championship at Rosslare.
TCD’s Eoin Sullivan and Maynooth’s Ryan Griffin both shot two-under 70s to add to their opening 73s to move into the red figures, where they are joined by Maynooth’s Shane Irwin and first round leader Kate Dwyer.
Dwyer racked up six bogeys in her first nine holes, offset by a solitary birdie, but a two at the short 10th and then an eagle three at the final hole brought her right back into contention.
Louis Anthony (QUB) took full advantage of the more benign conditions on day 2 to shoot a six-under 66, punctuated by a front nine of 31, to move to level par.
Defending champion Aaron Marshall (Maynooth) is a shot further back on one over after a 75.
