UCLA sophomore, Annabel Wilson moved into the top 10 (+2, 144) following 36 holes at the Pac-12 Championships at the Stanford Golf Course on Saturday.
Wilson followed her opening 74 with a 1-under 70 in her second round. She birdied her first hole, the par-5 first, as well as the par-3 eighth and 17th and the par-4 ninth, adding three bogeys along the way.
At the top, Sophomore Emma Spitz shot her second-consecutive, 3-under 68 taking the lead ahead of the final round. Spitz sits at 6-under 136, holding a one-shot lead over Stanford’s Rachel Heck (-5, 137). Spitz made five birdies in her first 11 holes, including three in a row on the par-3 third and fourth holes and the par-4 fifth. She added birdies on the par-4 ninth and 11th to go with a pair of bogeys.
As a team, the UCLA are in fifth place (+13, 581), shooting a 6-over 290 on Saturday.
