Stephanie Meadow returned a second straight two-over par 74 but breezed through the cut-line at a tough first LPGA Tour assignment since lockdown.
Only 12 players are under-par after two rounds of the Drive On Championship in a baptism of fire for the game’s elite ahead of this month’s Ladies Scottish Open the week prior to the AIG Women’s Open.
For Meadow, ordinarily a plus-four 36-hole total might sting a little but she finds herself comfortably in mid-field after the cut-mark fell at plus six.
The Jordanstown professional’s second round looked much like her first with four bogeys on the card and two birdies in another 74.
Tied for 43rd ahead of the final round, Meadow managed to find a much-improved 12 of 15 fairways compared to just 8 on day one, however again she found just 11 of 18 greens and needed two more stabs with the putter with 33 overall on Friday.
All up, plus-four leaves the Northern Irishwoman trailing the leaders by nine strokes with Danielle Kang and Jodi Ewert Shadoff joined by Celine Boutier atop the board at five-under par.
