Srixon Sports Europe (SSE) is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter McClelland who will be joining the company as the new Sales Representative and Demo Technician in Ireland. Peter will be starting his position in the UK and Ireland Sales Team from May 4th and will be working alongside David Jenkins to cover the Irish Region.
Peter has a vast knowledge of the industry having worked in golf for a long time. He started as an Assistant Professional in Ireland before moving to Australia for 2 years to work for Power Golf. He then returned to Ireland as a teaching professional and from 2012 he has worked as a Custom Fit Technician.
SSE’s UK & Ireland Sales Manager, Gareth Taylor said of the appointment “I’m thrilled that we have been able to appoint Peter during the current global situation. I hope it sends out a positive message to the industry that we are planning for the future and are working as hard as we can to bounce back as quickly as possible. Peter is a fantastic appointment for us and I’m excited to have him on board and to see what he can bring to the Irish region, working alongside David.”
Of his new position, Peter explained “I’m overjoyed to have been offered the opportunity to come and work for Srixon and Cleveland. They’re a company who are going from strength to strength in the golf industry, and I’m really excited to become part of it and can’t wait to get started.”
