‘Tis the season for handing out awards and rewards for a job well done and this week the Golfers Guide to Ireland launched their 2020 magazine with their annual awards bash in the luxurious surroundings of the Palmer Room at the K Club.
As one would expect it was attended by the great and the good with many of the golf industry, dignitaries and of course a couple of media (IGM included) for good measure.
MC for the night was RTE’s Greg Allen who did a superb job in walking us all through the various awards as well as interviewing one of the honoured guests, Gary Murphy, in a a Q&A style interview at the end of the night.
All in all it was another fantastic night for the golf industry, celebrating the successes of 2019 and looking forward to hopefully another great season in 2020.
