Elite players such as Shane Lowry Hideki Matsuyama, Brooks Koepka and Conor Purcell all have unique driver needs to maximise distance and performance. Recreational golfers are no different. Some need extra help on mis-hits, while others aim to reduce spin. With the ZXi driver family, Srixon offers a three-club system designed to cater to a wide range of golfers.

Srixon have today announced the launch of their all-new ZXi Woods featuring the company’s exclusive i-FLEX technology, bringing tour-inspired performance to every tee box and fairway.

As with the previous ZX family, the ZXi drivers feature Srixon’s Rebound Frame technology, which integrates a four-zone system of rigid and flexible areas in the clubhead. This innovation improves energy transfer from the club to the ball, increasing ball speed.

At the heart of the new ZXi Woods lineup is Srixon’s exclusive i-FLEX technology. A completely redesigned face thickness pattern that optimizes energy transfer from the club face to the ball, resulting in maximum efficiency and enhanced ball speed. To achieve the flexibility and ball speed goals set for certain ZXi Drivers, Srixon engineers utilized an all-new titanium, Ti72S. The material is not only stronger and lighter, but also remarkably durable. The thin face centre, supported by thickened areas on the heel and toe, forms the unique shape of i-FLEX, creating optimal performance on every swing. A new Star Frame Crown Complex creates the structural integrity necessary to support an ultralight, remarkably thin titanium crown, allowing discretionary mass to be set where it best suits each ZXi Driver’s ideal launch and spin characteristics.

“With i-FLEX technology inserted into the ZXi Woods, we were able to unlock an extra level of performance we’ve never had before. The flexibility of these clubs enables a more efficient transfer of energy, which in turn, generates more power at impact. With every swing, golfers will be able to feel the added strength and responsiveness of these new Woods and see their shots go farther.” Joe Miller, Srixon Europe Product Manager.

A standout feature of the new ZXi Drivers is their advanced adjustability options. With various weight port locations, players can effortlessly adjust the flight path or spin, allowing for greater control and precision on the course. Additionally, an all-new 1.5-degree hosel sleeve offers 12 different positions to fine-tune loft, lie, and face angle.  In addition to the upgrades made in face flex and energy transfer, ZXi Drivers feature a brand-new visible Laser Face Milling pattern. This was added to the surface to help stabilize spin and add forgiveness in wet conditions for consistent performance.

With the ZXi driver family, Srixon offers a three-club offering with options designed to cater for all golfers. Below are the differences between each model.

ZXi (9, 10.5 degrees): This model replaces the ZX5 Mk II driver and features two adjustable weights – 10 grams and 4 grams – placed in ports at the rear-heel and rear-toe areas. This configuration allows for a draw or fade bias while keeping the moment of inertia high for stability.

ZXi Max (9, 10, 12 degrees): Designed for maximum forgiveness, the ZXi Max features a single weight port in the back-center of the sole. It comes standard with a 14-gram weight, offering the highest moment of inertia and launch angle in the ZXi family.

ZXi LS (8, 9, 10.5 degrees): A low-spin alternative to the ZXi, this model places the 10-gram and 4-gram weights in front and rear ports. Positioning the heavier weight in the front creates lower launch and spin with increased ball speed. Moving the heavier weight to the back raises the launch angle and spin rate while boosting the MOI for added forgiveness.

The new ZXi Drivers also comes with a 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee, meaning if you’re not 100% satisfied with the performance you can return the driver to your place of purchase. This special promotion runs from 1st of March until end of May 2025, now thats an offer not many manufacturers will offer!! All ZXi driver models will be available for €549 from January 24th.
