FootJoy has unveiled the latest update to its Premiere Series Packard golf shoe, combining classic styling with modern performance technology.
Built on more than a century of shoemaking expertise, the Premiere Series range has become one of the most popular choices among professional golfers. According to FootJoy, the franchise accounts for roughly 40% of footwear worn across the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, highlighting its strong presence at the elite level of the game.
Patrick Trubiano, Director of Product Management for FootJoy footwear, said the redesign was heavily influenced by feedback from tour professionals and elite amateurs.
“We’ve listened closely to feedback from our Tour players and elite amateurs, identifying key areas where we could elevate performance,” he said.
“As the number one shoe in golf, we have a responsibility to continually raise the standard. The new Premiere Series delivers the classic silhouette golfers expect – built better and reinvented with performance that truly delivers.”
For 2026, the company has introduced a fully updated version of the Packard model, designed to retain its traditional look while incorporating new performance features.
Both the men’s and women’s models feature exquisite craftsmanship and detailing, using hand-selected full-grain leathers. Soft, supple, ultra-lightweight materials and refined finishes create a modern take on a classic silhouette.

Both the men’s and women’s models feature hand-selected premium full-grain leather, designed to deliver a soft, lightweight feel while maintaining durability and a premium finish.
A key addition to the latest model is FootJoy’s new ARCTrax outsole technology, developed to improve traction and stability in a variety of course conditions. The outsole uses an anti-channeling design and flex-promoting concentric circles intended to optimise ground forces during the golf swing.
