The Ryder Cup is big business, and that’s never been more evident than in ticket pricing for the 2025 event at Bethpage Black on New York’s Long Island where it will set you back almost $750 if you want to be there for any of the three competitive days.

Home advantage and an extremely partisan crowd have been major factors in deciding each of the last five Ryder Cups, with Europe’s come-from-behind victory at Medinah in 2012 the last time an away side has spoiled the party, but it won’t come cheap to be among the famously vocal and often abrasive New York crowd next year.

According to the FAQ section of the Ryder Cup website, tickets for either the Tuesday or Wednesday practice sessions come in at $225.27 (€206.58), rising to $423.64 (€388.49) for the final practice sessions on Thursday that also includes the Singles sessions of Junior Ryder Cup, Celebrity Matches and the Opening Ceremony.

Then, when the real Ryder Cup action begins on Friday, prices are hoisted up again and a ticket for Friday, Saturday or Sunday will set you back $749.51 (€687.38). The good news, however, is that each of these prices include unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverages at any of the concessions stands throughout the grounds.

If you want alcohol, you can have it, you’ve just got to pay for each and every drink you have. And it’s safe to say that an all-inclusive alcoholic beverage option probably isn’t the best idea in what is likely to be the most hostile Ryder Cup environment we’ve ever seen.

While those prices might seem egregious at first glance, it’s worth noting that New York is an expensive city and the unlimited food and non-alcoholic beverage inclusions are likely to be worth well over $100 a day to the average fan and probably north of $200 for anybody with a healthy appetite.

Fans wishing to attend can enter the random selection ballot until October 22 by visiting RyderCup.com and, after the closing date for entries, those successful will be notified and can then advance to purchase.
