Alex Maguire shot a level-par final round to end the week in a tie for ninth at the Clutch Pro Tour event at England’s Kedleston Park.
After making a fast start and birdieing the first, he’d go on to drop four shots over the closing six holes on the front side and made the turn at +3 for the day. A good fightback on the back nine saw him claw his way back to level par thanks to birdies on 13, 16 and 17 and he secured a top-10 finish.
Tyler Hogarty was one shot further back, but was the picture of consistency all week, shooting three rounds of 71 to finish on three-under and in a tie for 12th.
Robert Brazill also shot a level-par final round to end the week in a tie for 20th.
England’s Daniel Smith secured his first Clutch Pro Tour victory of 2024, having been knocking on the door regularly in the preceding weeks. He took a four-stroke lead into the final round and a two-under 70 was enough to see him maintain that advantage to the end and get in the clubhouse at -12, eventually finishing four ahead of Joe Brooks in second, with John Gough two further back in solo third.
