Electric trolleys are big business, it can be one of the biggest purchases golfers can make and the product category is booming. In a recent survey by Motocaddy they forecast electric trolley sales to reach an estimated $200m (€177m) by 2030. That would represent a potential growth of 44% in the next six years!

With this projected growth, Motocaddy are continuing to invest in new models and technology across their fleet and a key focus for 2024 is to encourage more golfers who carry or push carts to go electric by introducing a new entry-level powered model at the most attractive price point on the market.

Based on the S-Shaped frame and platform made popular by the legacy 12V S-Series range the all-new Motocaddy SE electric trolley offers the brand’s customary styling, performance, and reliability at a really affordable price to make it accessible to as many golfers as possible. Incredibly easy-to-use, the new model features nine-speed settings, a USB port for on-the-go charging of mobile phones or GPS devices, plus an LED power indicator and battery meter on the trolley handle.

Despite being available for under €630 the SE still provides golfers with the same high build quality and reliability as other Motocaddy models across the range. Golfers walk upwards of 13,000 steps and six miles during an average round of golf, so Motocaddy want to offer more golfers the opportunity to feel the benefit of an electric trolley.
The new SE model features Motocaddy’s award-winning QUIKFOLD mechanism that allows golfer to fold or unfold the trolley in seconds. It also incorporates the brand’s exclusive EASILOCK system, designed to lock a Motocaddy bag onto the trolley.

Available in ULTRA Lithium and Lead-acid battery options with on-board charging possible if preferred, the Motocaddy SE comes in a Graphite frame at the following RRP’s €559 (Lead-acid) and €629 (ULTRA Lithium).
The new SE joins the already award-winning S1 and compact-folding M1 models as part of Motocaddy’s most complete entry-level line-up ever. Simple and incredibly easy-to-use, the S1 features new CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT battery technology, which not only provides cable-free connectivity, but also automatically disconnects the battery when folded and offers a quick-access port to allow onboard charging without removal.
A super-lightweight Lithium battery and upgraded visuals including a full-colour LCD widescreen display. The Motocaddy S1 is available from €779.

Recently launched, the new 2024 M1 is the most compact trolley entry level trolley in the fleet and features an impressive LCD widescreen display, and nine-speed settings. Designed to quickly fold to fit into the smallest spaces, the latest model also includes a new CLICK ‘N’ CONNECT cable-free battery a new style ergonomic handle grips, and redesigned sporty tyres. The Motocaddy M1 is available from €879. Both S1 and M1 models have additional DHC options featuring Automatic Downhill Control.

Match your trolley with the perfect bag

Motocaddy is also providing golfers with an abundance of choice this season by launching four brand new bag models. The latest bags include a new luxury M-TECH top of the range model, as well as all-new versions of the brand’s best-selling Dry-Series, feature-packed Club-Series and compact Lite-Series, alongside this season’s versatile HydroFLEX carry bag.
The 2024 bag range is completed by the popular Pro-Series model and award-winning PROTEKTA organiser cart bag – bringing the total Motocaddy selection this year to seven feature-packed models in 19 different colourway combinations, making it easy for golfers to match an eye-catching and functional bag with the trolley of their choice.
Each bag and trolley in the range also features the brand’s exclusive EASILOCK system that locks it onto a Motocaddy trolley and removes the need for a lower bag support strap. Two holes on the trolley’s lower bag support align with two removable pins on the base of the bag to ensure golfers can secure their bag more easily and quicker than ever before.
