Maguire and Meadow locked together as Zhang marches into the lead

Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow will play alongside each other in the final round of the Maybank Championship in Malaysia.

Both players are tied for 21st place on eight-under-par after Maguire fired a 68 and Meadow a 69.

American superstar Rose Zhang muscled her way into the lead with a blistering 65 to hold a one shot advantage over Thai duo Atthaya Thitikul and Jasmine Suwannapura on eighteen-under.

Zhang made a sensational start to her third round with three birdies in a row from the second before picking up three birdies in four holes on the seventh, ninth and tenth.

Her only blemish came on the par-4 14th before she marched into the lead with birdie on 15 and 18.
